Sigurdur Gudmundsson

Reading The Libraries of Thought
and Imagination: An Anthology of Bookshelves
by Alex Finlay and Colin Sackett I came across the fantastic work of Sigurdur Gudmundsson.

These visual poems / photographs, influenced by Fluxus and conceptual art, construct a certain poetic and philosophical vision through a series of staged situations where the artist himself takes an impersonal role of an object among other objects—be it rainbows, bricks, books, or punctuation signs—in what seems to be a coded language of the subconsciousness.
